Draft your profile summary from your CV
Upload your CV, get a first draft of your profile summary, then edit it before you save.
What it does
Your public profile summary is what organisations read before they book you, and a blank box is hard to start. On your profile, under Biography, you can upload your CV as a PDF or paste the text. Sessional drafts a short professional summary from it.
The draft drops into your Biography field for review. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
How to use it
Your CV is saved to your documents
When you upload a CV as a file, a copy is saved to your document store under the CV category, so you have it to hand to reuse or share later. You can rename, recategorise, or delete it there at any time. Pasted text is not saved.
It only summarises
Your data and privacy
What is sent
To draft the summary, the text of your CV is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through the Claude API.
What is retained
Your CV is never used to train AI models, and the extracted text is not retained after the draft is generated.
The saved file in your documents is separate, and yours to delete. See how we handle AI data for the full detail.
