What it is

Instead of emailing PDFs of your DBS, indemnity, registration, and right-to-work documents to every new organisation, you bundle the ones you choose into a single link. The organisation opens it, sees each document with its expiry status, and can view them. No account, no faff, faster clearance.

Creating a link

Document sharing lives in one place: Share documents in your dashboard. There you pick between a quick link, covered here, and a link locked behind an access code for more sensitive files. For the locked option, see secure document sharing.

  • Open Share documents and choose the quick link.
  • Tick the documents you want to include. You choose exactly what to share.
  • Pick how long it stays live and add an optional label, like the trust name.
  • Copy the link and send it to the organisation. You can create more than one for different organisations.

Control and revocation

You can revoke any link at any time from the same page. Each link shows how many times it has been viewed, and each link also expires on the date you set.

Important: Sessional does not verify documents

Note

Sessional does not check, verify, or validate your documents. It shares exactly what you select. Confirming the documents are genuine, current, and sufficient for the role is the responsibility of you and the organisation, the same as if you had emailed them.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to share everything?
No. You choose document by document what goes in each link, and you can make different links for different organisations.
Can the organisation download the documents?
They can view them through the link while it is live. Once you revoke it or it expires, access stops.
Which plan includes this?
The compliance passport is a Plus feature. You upload documents in the document store first, then bundle them here.
