Choosing locum software is mostly a question of what you need it to do. Some tools help you find sessions; others, Sessional included, are for running the work you already have: invoices, chasing, expenses, tax, NHS pension forms and appraisal records. The comparison below says plainly where another provider suits you better, and the switching guide covers the part that usually stops people moving: getting years of history out of the old system. The GP comparison is written for GP locums. If you work in another profession, check each product's own pages for it rather than assuming from ours.

How these pages stay current: before a cell changes, we re-read the provider's page it cites and move its checked date forward. If a competitor changes its prices or adds a feature, the comparison should say so, and if you spot something out of date, tell us and we will re-check it against the source.
